Pronounced ‘rooma’, is a Zimbabwean Incorporated company and locally owned. The company offers Engineering and Project management services in the following disciplines: structural steel works, fabrication, precision machining, line boring, plant maintenance, installations, commissioning and training, component building, lagging and cladding of Boilers and Steam Pipes, facilities maintenance, droughting and design, as well as Engineering skilled labor hire.
Our services
Labour Broking
We have access to a large pool of highly skilled and competent artisans who are available to our clients at 24-hours’ notice. Our resource pool is made up of the following: fitter machinists, boilermakers, coded welders, electricians, Instruments Technicians and millwrights.
Structural Steelwork Fabrication and Erection
We design, manufacture and erect steel structures which include: Wrought iron fencing. Structural steel framed industrial buildings in beam bashing, structural pipe & channel/angle constructions. Material Handling- Conveyor gantries for surface & inclined conveyors including Take –ups. Roof trusses & girders in lattice and portal frame construction. Tank stands and towers (communication, lighting, transmission and guyed masts).Bending machines (8mm max. bending thickness) & guillotine (6mm max cutting thickness).
Pipework Fabrication and Installation
Our pipe fabrications include the following:
Rubber lining of pipes. Heavy steel pipe fabrications for water & slurry including tee, sweep tee, bends, reducers. Manufacture of flanges and fittings. Fixing of smaller galvanized piping and fittings for water reticulation.
Platework Fabrication and Installation
We are into various plate-work fabrications including the following:
Rubber lining services. Chutes, bins under pans, launders and hoppers for crushing and processing plants, including trouser chutes. Heavy plate work fabrications. Repair of mining equipment and machinery. Manufacturing of bulk storage tanks.
Lagging and Cladding of Boilers and Steam Pipes
We have a dedicated team to assist our clients with the energy conservation programs through insulation of boilers, hot water storage tanks and steam pipes
Horticulture and Landscaping
We have a highly professional team specializing in the following:

Engineer E.Chirewa
Chief Executive Officer
Ephraim is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with extensive project management experience gained with the mining and mineral processing industries, construction industry and in the consultancy environment as well.
He is a member of the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers (ZIE) and also registered with the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe (ECZ).
Mr James Manja
Chief Operating Officer
James is a highly motivated and experienced Agronomist with a passion for sustainable agricultural practices. An excellent communicator and problem solver, adept at developing and implementing successful strategies for sustainable crop production.
He assists our clients with the development and management of their horticulture and landscaping projects.
